Here is a large cube kit that you can build to put on a light show in your home. The L3D Cube Kit allows you to build a 20″ x 20″ x 22″ LED cube that reacts to sounds. You don’t need any soldering to put the cube together. The L3D Cube dances to your music using its internal microphone. It is also compatible with LEAP Motion controller.

The cube is programmable over WiFi with Arduino. The bad news? It’s not cheap.
